Woman Owned Company - Made in the USA

Over 30,000 products in our store come with a limited lifetime warranty.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you. It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness. Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously. Used this way, you can control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs. The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars. It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest. Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash*

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distribute pressure. It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point. As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash*

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point. The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

*The main difference between the Training leash and Euro leash is the length. The training leash is 3′ long when connected to both points and Euro leash is 6′ long. The Euro leash also has a removable handle that can be used in high traffic situations when you need to keep your dog close to you. We do recommend the training leash for strong pullers because the shorter the lead, the more control you are going to have.

    Safe & secure

These are amazing harnesses. I have large hound dogs and they are the only harness/leash that I feel comfortable using. Have gotten one (or two, or three depending on how many they’ve chewed) for every dog I’ve had. If my dogs do chew them, 2 Hounds has a great policy for replacement. Fantastic company and product!

    GREAT HARNESS

I love the Freedom Harness. I've been using it with my dog for a couple of years now and it's become my harness of choice for my dog training clients. Pairing it with the Euro Leash is an absolute plus.

The photo is of my personal dog Emma sporting her harness.

    Not for aggressive Puller

I had high hopes for this harness after doing some research and reading other reviews. I was disappointed more than happy with these harnesses. I have a 70lb pitbull/staffy and this harness made next to no difference. He gets extremely excited for his walks and even more when he wants to chase a bird/squirrel on our walks. The harness did barely anything to prevent the pulling. I found myself still having to yank him back and telling him to slow down. The leash is a nice concept but terrible on hands. No padding or comfort. Just leash material. I prefer the $20 Amazon harness.

Hi there, it definitely isn't a magic bullet and doesn't stop pulling on its own. We suggest walking in a space with few distractions and have lots of treats on hand. If your dog is pulling, stop walking (don't yank, just plant your feet and stop walking). Wait, if your dog stops pulling and looks back at you, give a treat and praise quickly, then start walking forward again. Repeat.

If you stop and wait and your dog doesn't stop pulling, turn around and walk in the other direction. You might not get very far the first walk, but it won't take long for your dog to get the message and stop pulling.

While you are training, the harness helps you plant your feet and not move by distributing the pulling force across a vector with the double connection leash, so you feel less pulling force than the dog exerts.

It works if you put the time in, a few training sessions are worth a lifetime of walks.

    Customer service is lacking

I've bought 3 of these harnesses. The first one I bought at a store, and the velvet strap was twisted so that it was uncomfortable on my dog - I had to take it back to the store, and watch the clerk fiddle with it for 15 minutes until he figured out what was wrong - it had been put together incorrectly. This harness my puppy destroyed - I had left it on her a cuople of times, and was unaware she was chewing a certain spot - she managed to chew through the strap very easily.

The 2nd harness I didn't have any trouble with - 2nd was because puppy had destroyed the first.

The 3rd harness I bought direct - because I needed the next size up. It wasn't any cheaper than buying it at the store. It was thrown in a bag without any packaging (trying to save money on a harness they charge exhorbent prices). Because it wasn't packaged up, it became twisted during shipping. I had to reach out, explain my frustrations with the first and 3rd harnesses, as they took extended efforts to remediate the problem. They ended up sending me a picture, and I wokred on the harness to figure out where it was twisted. Not a good experience - no offer for a discount, no offer whatsoever. She just didn't care that their quality control is sub-standard, and that I had problems with her product. While the harness works to stop my dog from pulling me, I'm sure there are other brands that do the same and most likely with a better customer service foundation. When a company is built on greed, it…

Hi Valerie, I'm so sorry you had this experience. You are correct, the harness that you ordered was shipped incorrectly and was missing the brochure and internal bag. We have a few newer people on the shipping team and suspect it was a mistake or forgotten training. We are fixing the problem and auditing packages before they go out. Thank you for bringing this to our attention - and I had previously reached out via email, hopefully you received that.
