It's here! For the tiny dogs with chest measurements between 13-16 inches...

And it is our first collaboration with Yellow Dog Design, so we are extra excited about this new harness! Available in Black plus TEN of our favorite YDD patterns, including a couple of holiday goodies!

Like it's larger partners, the MINI Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.

It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness. Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously. Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness (mini and regular!) also features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs. The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the webbing can literally be used to tow cars. It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

Want to add a leash to make it easier to connect to the front and back of the harness at the same time? We've made this one LONGER (because tiny dogs are closer to the ground) but we still recommend keeping your dog right beside you. :)

    No pull harness

    I really like the harness but unfortunately the Xxs still doesn’t fit our miltipoo. We had to return it.

    Smaller Width

    The harness is so well designed! My rescue dog came home from the shelter wearing an XS harness which was too large. I love every aspect: how easy it is to take on and off, the martingale/control loop, the velvet chest strap. Also, it's incredibly well made.

    Sadly, the XXS harness is a smaller width and uses lighter weight hardware than the XS harness. Everything besides the smaller width of the webbing and lighter weight hardware is perfection.

    Neck doesn't fit small breeds well

    Overall it's a good harness. There was a production issue where they used breakaway buckles for the harnesses and my dog escaped his harness while on a walk. When I contacted the company to complain, they said they were fixing the issue and sent me a replacement immediately. The replacement arrived a few days ago and doesn't breakaway like the first. My main complaint is that the neck size is much too big for my pomeranian. I have it on it's tightest and it's still too big. The harness still works ok because the chest is snug, but the design could be better to fit small dogs. I wish the martingale portion was on the chest area and not around the neck because toy breeds are susceptible to trachea collapse. So, I'm a bit concerned about that but so far so good.

    I like this harness as well, I do wish the ring was a bit bigger but not a huge downside. This has also helped with pulling on our walks!

    Tiny strap width makes this unusable.

    Finally! One that came in her size! Then I put it on her. The tiny width of the straps were an automatic no. They were so thin they were not comfortable. They got stuck in her curls. Why do people think small dogs need tiny straps???

    Also the rings for the leash attachments are too small for her leash!

    So it is the usual predicament. Finally get a harness that fits her chest and girth and it is made for a dog who doesnt actually walk on a leash, or go up ONE SIZE and it is too big. The life of a toy poodle. Who isn't a toy, but an active pup, and was hopeful to find a harness that worked.
